Visual Makeup for Trap Skins

Ever since the tattoo layer came out I had an idea to make makeup with it...which it seems the world also had this idea as well.  Great minds think alike I guess.  Once I finally found the time to start working on these I came across a lot of challenges. The concept is simple but actually doing it is another thing.  I was trying to match my idol, Selos' art style so I could better make my makeups blend with his skins and it was hard to do.  He is a much more skilled artist then I but I believe I learned a lot from him and how to do makeup from these.  There were so many I wanted to do but I think 18 is more then enough.  I was worried to make too many and then overload people.  I want to give special thanks to Selos, the owner of [][]Trap[][] for putting up with me and teaching me how to be a better artist.

These tattoo layers are ment to match up with [][]Trap[][] Basic, Roco or Vampy skins.  They may work with other skins but it is not a given.

Gr8 Story ~ Takeru ~ SuG

Lately I have been really down due to a lot of personal issues.  I needed to find a way to keep my spirits up and find the old me again and so I turned to oshare music.  It isn't my top choice in music and I really only like 3 or 4 bands but it was all I could do to keep myself from falling into depression.  I found Gr8 Story by SuG and it inspired me.  It's words of reaching for tomorrow and creating your own story, that life cannot be bad forever.  I took these words to heart and I have been happier since.  To try and hold onto this feeling I decided to make Takeru's outfit from the PV.  That was a bit more of a challenge then I thought....as usual it seems.  I wasn't sure how to make the jacket seem plush and fluffy like in the video so I made the whole thing prim to give that illusion.  I had a hard time with some of the texturing and prim work but all in all this outfit was really fun to make and my first to ever be offered in multiple colors right off the bat.  I am really excited about this outfit and I hope more people like it.  Expect to see more oshare from me in the future!

From August 20 to September 5, Harumari SIM is holding a dōjinshi and cosplay convention. Kodama ni Ki was kind enough to give 4 prim spaces to its vedors. Face Gem Decorations

So I decided after seeing no decent face gems in SL that didn't eat your face that I would make some.  They are often seen in visual and oshare kei to decorate the eye area or forhead but I only mad eye ones.  Mini prim hell again especially since each gem is two prims but I am happy they are sculpt so have the right shape.  I made them in several styles for veriety and idot me made like 8 colors.  That was such a pain when I was setting them up in the stores.  I have a whole new level of respect for hair makers or anyone who makes many color selections of anything lol  They seem to be popular.  I sold quite a few the first day and things never sell for me on the first day so I am pretty excited about that.  Maybe I will make head gems soon too.

Punky Heart ~ Maya ~ LMC

This outfit was a little out of my normal range, especially with color.  I had been looking through videos and came across one of the newer ones from LMC, Punky ❤ Heart.  I must admit the song is extreemly catchy and sticks in your head.  I was also kind of stunned by the amount of hot pink in the video and the fact all these guys were wearing it.  Now I am no stranger to oshare kei but this was still a lot of pink in one place.  Everyone also knows I quite hate that color so what better idea then to shock them all to death and make this outfit?  And boy were people shocked.  This outfit was quite the task especially the baggy cargo pants.  I believe this is one of my most prim heavy AND sculpt heavy outfits in the [Actuate Eden] line and probubly will be for a long time.  People seem to absolutely love it though.  I even had two friends (now employees) send me pictures they took with the outfits as themselves cosplayed as Maya and Aiji.  These pictures are availible to view at my shop in Aurora Vale.  Below is the outfit and (for those of you not familiar) a youtube video of Punky ❤ Heart by LMC.
